Petra’s professional focus is managing the transfer of value from Estates & Trusts which are left for the ultimate benefit of charitable causes. She does so using her legal expertise and commercial sense as well as her emotional intelligence and intuition, whilst avoiding delays, contention, high costs and reputational risk.
Having moved to the UK in 2005 she found a natural intersection of Philantropy and Law in her role as a charitable Estates specialist. Petra has a Master in Law degree from Charles University in Prague, and is a Member of the England & Wales Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the Institute of Legacy Management. She also serves as a Trustee of the Czech National Trust.

The focus is building strong relationships with Estate professionals and families to facilitate effortless transfer of value from the individual’s Estate to the causes they wished to support.
Petra currently manages the varied legacy portfolios for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Westminster, the Archdiocese of Southwark, Fight for Sight, Refuge, Independent Age and Turn2us. In 2023 she was named as one of the finalists of the prestigious Legacy Professional of the Year award.
In the past, Petra has worked with a number of national charities, such as Macmillan, Cancer Research, St John Ambulance, Royal Star & Garter Homes, The Leprosy Mission, Combat Stress, Action for Children, Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, Queen Elizabeth Foundation, Royal Northern College of Music, Vision Foundation and others.
